Black Mobs Now Beating Jews In New York

(via Pat Dollard / Excerpted from WND) If Chaim Amalek had his way, no one would know that mobs of black people are attacking and beating and robbing Jews in the New York area. Or that they shout anti-Semitic epithets.

Or that they target Jews because “they don’t fight back.”
“Such information can only serve to heighten racial tensions between these two groups,” said Amalek, an alias for New York video blogger Luke Ford. “Let us all look beyond the issue of race (in any event a mere social construct) and instead celebrate our diversity.”
In this case, the New York Post saw a pattern that most other media outlets never see. To some, it was jarring.
“Anti-Jewish crime wave,” read the June headline about a series of recent anti-Semitic attacks. “In the most disturbing incident, a mob of six black teenagers shouting, ‘Dirty Jew!’ and ‘Dirty kike!’ repeatedly bashed Marc Heinberg, 61, as he walked home from temple in Sheepshead Bay (in June.)”
This is one of several black mob attacks on – and robberies of – Jewish people in Brooklyn over the last two years, leaving broken bones and life-threatening injuries in their wake.
The assaults are part of a larger pattern in the New York area and around the country: Black mobs assaulting, robbing, destroying property and creating mayhem – hundreds of times in more than 60 cities.
Orthodox Jews may bear a disproportionate amount of the violence in New York. But the lawlessness that black mobs inflict throughout the area is not limited to Jews. Much of it is on YouTube.
In February, four black people beat and robbed an Orthodox Jew in the New York suburb of Monsey. They were charged with hate crimes after it was determined they targeted the victim based on his religion. News accounts do not mention the race of the attackers, but the picture tells the story.
In a three-week period after Thanksgiving 2010, the same group of black people was charged in three separate episodes of targeting, beating and robbing members of the Orthodox community. One of the victims, Joel Weinberger, spent four days in the hospital with broken bones and required 10 hours of surgery on his broken jaw and eye socket.
Ford and others, such as MSNBC news anchor Melissa Harris-Perry, say the media should not report news if it makes black people look bad. But most racial crimes and violence from black mobs in the New York area are usually not reported – not by the mainstream media anyway.
Witnesses and others who know often find a way to drop a dime, or a video or Internet posting.
Just a few days before the Heinberg beating, a group of students from a predominately black school in a predominantly black neighborhood in Brooklyn were “evicted” from the 9/11 Memorial site in Manhattan “after they callously hurled trash into its fountains. The vile vandals from Junior High School 292 in East New York treated the solemn memorial – its reflecting pools honoring the nearly 3,000 people killed in the terror attacks – like a garbage dump.”
One of the students was found carrying ammunition.
The story did not identify the race of the students. The picture for the article featured a young white person looking over the fountains. But people who posted comments to the story, many of whom said they lived near the school, identified the vandals as black – if only to defend them.
“The NYPD have destroyed enough young black lives,” wrote poster Blaque Knyte. “I’d be willing to bet you didn’t suggest jail for the little white suburban thugs who harassed that elderly bus matron to tears, which IS a crime by the way.”
Many of the commenters said the story should have identified the race of the miscreants – if only to protect the community from future mayhem. That was too much for “brooklynborn,” who said, “I am embarrassed for my fellow Americans who flaunt their racism so publicly. What they did was offensive, but the conditions of where we grew up – compared to the wealth of Wall St. – is also offensive.”
While New Yorkers continue to debate whether race has anything to do with crime, or whether it should be reported, the list of racially violent and lawless episodes continues to grow.
On May 12, black women taunted two teenage girls on a subway before “hauling” the girls off the subway, beating them and stealing one of their phones.
The local NBC affiliate did not disclose the race of the mob, but it didn’t have to: The attack was videotaped and posted on YouTube.
On Staten Island in December, two police officers were hurt trying to control a mob of 50 black people attacking a single family home. Firefighters finally disbursed the crowd with fire hoses to get them away from the officers. Several pictures and videos show some of the action.
Last June, hundreds of black people rioted on Brighton Beach in an annual event called Brooklyn-Queens Day. Four people were shot and one killed. Much of it was posted on YouTube.
According to the New York Post: “The shootings didn’t surprise neighbors, who’ve gotten used to trouble on previous Brooklyn-Queens Days.”
“These kids come not to swim, they come for turf fights,” said Pat Singer, president of the Brighton Beach Neighborhood Association. “It’s a problem every year. It’s really hard on the businesses. All day long, all you see are hundreds of teenagers. Of course you’re going to have problems.”
In May of 2011, more than two dozen black people on a “rampage … terrorized” a Dunkin Donuts. The “swarm mob” attacked patrons, destroyed the fixtures and stole food, reported the Daily Mail, which published the story with pictures.
A few months before, the same scenario unfolded at a New York Wendy’s. A mob of black people were fighting and destroying property, and a teenage employee was attacked and hospitalized with a concussion.

Britain considered knighthood for Syria's Assad in 2002

So the Queen was going to knight Assad, but couldn't visit Israel once in her lifetime. ...ah the Brits. They just have so much more culture then we Americans. In America it was our feminists and progressives that wanted to be close with Assad... you know ambassadors like Pelosi and Kucinich? But in the UK the politicos were ready to bend their Queen over for Assad. Silly American right wingers... always questioning the wisdom of those witty Brits. This newspaper is from Lebanon. (The Daily Star) BEIRUT: Official papers have revealed that the U.K. government under Tony Blair considered asking the queen of England to bestow an honorary knighthood on Syrian President Bashar Assad, The Sunday Times reported. According to documents obtained by the U.K. daily under freedom information laws, discussions to honor Assad took place prior to his 2002 visit to Britain where he sought “as much pomp and ceremony as possible.”
On his trip, Assad met Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles, had lunch with then Prime Minister Blair at Downing Street and other privileges.
The documents, according to the paper, show the lengths to which the British government went to accommodate Assad, including holding a joint press conference, manipulating media to portray Assad in a favorable light and efforts to boost his “photogenic” wife’s profile.
Assad was invited to visit Britain by Tony Blair in December 2002 after meeting him the previous year in Damascus.
According to the documents, on Nov. 14, 2002, a desk officer covering Syria and Lebanon at the Foreign and Commonwealth office wrote: “You should be aware that President Bashar of Syria will visit the U.K. as a guest of government ... This will include an audience with the queen. I have been advised that we need to consider whether the queen should bestow an honor on him.”
The desk officer went on to ask a colleague for other examples of honored heads of state.
The colleague responded on November 22, saying that the Mexican and Portuguese leaders were honored while the heads of state for the Dominican Republic and Venezuela were not.
A third official wrote an email on Nov. 25 stating: “In view of Syria’s human rights record and the fact that our relationship with them is not particularly cozy, we do not believe it would be particularly appropriate for an honor to be bestowed on Bashar.”
Another official wrote: “It is quite clear what the Syrians are looking for: as much pomp and ceremony as possible.”
Former British Ambassador to Damascus, Henry Hogger, told officials in London on Nov. 12: “I know that our main concern is to try and fix in advance the handling of difficult media issues [e.g. why are we cosying up to this nasty dictatorship that locks up its own MPs?].”
Hogger later wrote: “At No. 10, I don’t think the Syrians would mind Bashar having to brief the press alone [in the street?] but is there a chance the prime minister would appear at the door for a photocall/formal farewell?”
The documents also report a press officer from Downing Street writing to a Syrian official: “I have been exploring the ideas we discussed concerning a possible interview with Mrs. Assad ... I do not think The Guardian’s women’s pages would conduct the kind of interview you indicated you would want.”
The 2002 visit was reported to be “highly successful” in Damascus while Hogger reported: “Bashar and particularly Asma [Assad] generally a hit in PR terms.”
A spokesperson for Tony Blair defended the actions of the government under the former PM, stating: “Engagement with Syria and Assad in 2002 was absolutely right at the time to encourage change. Mr. Blair has said many times since that the situation has changed and Assad now has to go.”
Hogger, who has since retired from public diplomacy, said: “Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Were to have known then what we know some of the advice and decisions might have been different.”

Israeli Ice Cream Shop Serves Hummus Ice Cream

(yahoo) Hummus, the savory Middle Eastern spread made from chickpeas, isn't just for dipping anymore. An ice cream shop in Jaffa, Israel, is now serving hummus ice cream to patrons looking for something a little different.
Italian ice cream shop La Genda created the flavor with ground chickpeas, tahini, vanilla, sugar and stabilizers.
"I am a hummus freak. I always thought that one day we should make ice cream out of hummus, and after many experiments, we checked the right temperature, the right kind of grains, and achieved the perfect product," said owner Michael Mina to an Israeli television station.
Ice cream maker Boris Schwartz said the flavor has the familiar taste of hummus but that "it is a little sweeter than usual."
"It is a little strange, not for everyone, it's for people who like special things," said Schwartz.
One taste tester wrote, "It is supposed to have some chickpeas and olive oil in it as well, but it actually tastes the most like lemony Halva (halva is made from tahini and honey or sugar(sic))."
Afraid to try the dip-inspired treat? The chain offers over thirty flavors for patrons trying to beat the heat.
"We have prepared a few other kinds of ice cream, an avocado ice cream, and two weeks ago tried garlic ice cream. We are trying to renew ourselves," said Schwartz.

George Clooney has signed on for another special guest appearance as the Barack Obama re-election campaign takes its summer fundraising tour across the Atlantic in pursuit of Euro-cash.
The Obama campaign posted an invitation on its website Friday revealing that the presidential pal-in-chief will appear at a pair of Americans Abroad for Obama events Aug. 27 in Geneva, Switzerland. Clooney, who usually spends summers at his villa on Italy’s Lake Como, made a similar appearance across the Swiss border on behalf of then-candidate Obama during the run-up to the 2008 general election.

Charles Adams, co-president of the campaign’s European outreach effort, told the newspaper Tribune de Geneve that Clooney will address a crowd of about 150 at an evening reception, which will be followed by a more intimate — and expensive — dinner at which the star will be the guest of honor. Tickets for the latter event will go for $20,000 for singles and $30,000 for couples. MORE
