Boteach’s sues the Jewish Daily Forward for Defamation

(Free Beacon)Republican congressional candidate Shmuley Boteach is threatening to sue a major Jewish newspaper for running a “libelous” and “utterly untrue” article that accused him of improperly using his internationally celebrated charity as a personal ATM. Boteach, a well-known author and Orthodox spiritual leader, told the Free Beacon that a recent article in the Forward newspaper, which raised questions about disbursements made by his charity, amounted to “defamation.” Lawyers representing the rabbi have sent the newspaper a letter decrying what they claim is its defamatory and false coverage, the Free Beacon has learned, marking the first signs of a possible lawsuit. The Forward’s biased reporting on Boteach comports with a longstanding practice of antagonizing and mischaracterizing all those who do not toe the liberal line, media operatives and Jewish insiders allege. “If you’re a Republican or a conservative, and the phone rings and someone tells you the Forward is calling, you know it’s a hit piece and you better get ready,” said one Jewish Republican media operative who has worked with the paper. “The clear liberal bias in their reporting is not news to anyone who reads it.”(MORE)

North Carolina approves amendment banning gay marriage

to the haters. I hope there is something out there that you need and others don't that will be given to everyone just to spite you.

If you are gay you don't have to worry about pregnancy within a contract designed for family. it would be unethical to pretend otherwise. NC banned gay marriage? Good. it's time to stop pretending that marriage isn't something exclusive, unique and essential.

Israel threatens to send Lebanon back to the 8th century

that probably isn't a bluff and I doubt Lebanon cares at all for it's own people.

(Carl via Israel Jews Judaism) Israel has warned Hezbullah that if it responds to an Israeli attack on Iran with an attack on Israel, the IDF will destroy Lebanon's infrastructure.

Hoping to drive a wedge between Hizbollah and Lebanon's Sunni and Christian communities, the officer urged the Lebanese people not to be drawn into a war for which they, rather than Iran, would bear the brunt of Israel's anger.

"The situation in Lebanon after this war will be horrible," the officer, a senior commander on Israel's northern border with Syria and Lebanon, said.
"They will have to think about whether they want it or not. I hope that Iran will not push them into a war that Iran will not pay the price for but that Lebanon will."
Israel drew international condemnation in 2006 when it last launched military action against Hizbollah in an offensive that is believed to have killed more than 1,000 people, many of them civilians.
But the officer, speaking on the condition of anonymity, suggested that Israel had taken too cautious an approach in the conflict, leading to the deaths of dozens of Israeli soldiers.
No such mistake would be made in the next conflict, he said, especially as Hizbollah had built military sites in the centre of many villages and towns in southern Lebanon. Pointing to a satellite map of the town of Khiam, he identified a series of buildings that the movement had allegedly taken over for military purposes.
"In these villages where Hizbollah has infrastructure I will guess that civilians will not have houses to come back to after the war," he said.
"The Lebanese government has to take this into consideration. Many of the villages in southern Lebanon will be destroyed. Unfortunate, but we will have no other solution. The day after (we attack) the village will be something that it will take 10 years to rebuild."

Hezbullah is part of the government of Lebanon. If Hezbullah attacks Israel, Lebanon will be destroyed. There will be no holding back this time like there was six years ago.
