Media Blackout hid the fact that Saudi Embassy attacked as same time as Israeli embassy

The new Saudi Embassy being built in Cairo... whaaa??

...(Eygpt) Over the weekend, while the world's media made huge stock over how the flat below the Israeli embassy in Cairo had been ransacked (what is it with the left's hatred of the Jews?), it has been revealed that the Saudi Embassy was also attacked and overrun by hoards of peaceful Muslims. I quote from SKY TV:
Not many people know this, but the Israeli Embassy was not the only one attacked in Cairo last weekend.
The Embassy of Saudi Arabia was also stormed by a mob. Strangely the Egyptian media mostly kept quiet about it. The Muslim Brotherhood, which welcomed the assault on the 'murderous Nazi Jewish invaders' had nothing to say about the Saudi incident. Several cars were set alight but there was only minor damage to the building.
Now this is where it gets silly. You see, the only two countries which reported this at the time were... Iran and Russia. Makes you wonder, doesn't it?
But the Saudis are getting a new building anyway... but if you look at the comments on the new embassy one gets the idea that the Egyptians are not very happy with the Saudis.

NY Subways to Carry Anti-Israel Ads

New York subway train(Arutz Sheva) Pro-Arab lobbies are funding anti-Israel posters that are to be placed at 18 New York City subway stations this month, part of a nationwide campaign supporting the Palestinian Authority and urging a halt to American military aid to Israel.
The slick advertising program includes pictures of cleanly scrubbed Arab and Jewish children as well as depictions of armed Israeli soldiers detaining Arab terror suspects.
The “Two Peoples, One Future” group is carrying out the “Be On Our Side” campaign.
The national campaign has sparked controversy over the definition of political advertising and whether public companies should accept such advertising. The Supreme Court, in a previous ruling, decided that the political advertising is protected under the First Amendment guaranteeing freedom of speech. However, Seattle nixed an anti-Israel campaign earlier this year because it was deemed offensive. (MORE)

Ha'aretz changes headline to make PLO sound less anti-semitic

The PLO ambassador to the United States, Maen Areikat, says 'Palestine' must be Judenrein.
Even the URL of this link shows the headline:

http://www.haaretz.com/news/diplomacy-defense/plo-official-palestinian-state-to-be-free-of-jews-1.384493

But when you try to go to that link you get redirected to a new page, with a new headline, and even a new URL!

the first headline is completely accurate - and is consistent with statements that Areikat made last year. Even the Ha'aretz article itself - which does not appear to have been changed - makes that clear. (MORE EOZ)
"After the experience of the last 44 years of military occupation and all the conflict and friction, I think it would be in the best interest of the two people to be separated," Maen Areikat, the PLO ambassador, said during a meeting with reporters sponsored by The Christian Science Monitor. He was responding to a question about the rights of minorities in a Palestine of the future.

Such a state would be the first to officially prohibit Jews or any other faith since Nazi Germany, which sought a country that was judenrein, or cleansed of Jews, said Elliott Abrams, a former U.S. National Security Council official.

Israel has 1.3 million Muslims who are Israeli citizens. Jews have lived in "Judea and Samaria," the biblical name for the West Bank, for thousands of years. Areikat said the PLO seeks a secular state, but that Palestinians need separation to work on their own national identity.

The Palestinian demand is unacceptable and "a despicable form of anti-Semitism," Abrams said. A small Jewish presence in a future Palestine, up to 1% of the population, would not hurt the Palestinian identity, he said.

"No civilized country would act this way," Abrams said.

Global Counterterrorism Forum (GCTF): Islamist and Pro-Terrorist Turkish Regime Annointed as Co-Leader; Israel, Left Out

(TurkishNY) The Global Counterterrorism Forum (GCTF), to be co-chaired by Turkey and the United States in the first place, will be an international platform to fight against terrorism.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has announced the establishment of a new Global Counterterrorism Forum (GCTF). According to the statement, this initiative is the main activity in the administration’s effort to organize a framework for the international counterterrorism effort. There are 30 founding members: Switzerland is a member. Pakistan and India, despite the former's sponsoring terrorism agianst the latter, are members; Israel is not?
The country that is the most informed about terrorism is not in the group... why? Because countries that have enabled terrorism don't like the country that has been doing the best job against it. Madness
As stated in President Obama’s National Counterterrorism Strategy, the U.S. is committed to strengthening the global counterterrorism (CT) architecture in a manner that complements and reinforces the CT work of existing multilateral bodies. The Administration’s signature initiative in this area is the Global Counterterrorism Forum (GCTF), which is intended to ensure the necessary international architecture is in place to address 21st century challenges.
The U.S. proposed the creation of the GCTF to address the evolving terrorist threat in a way that would bring enduring benefits by helping frontline countries and affected regions acquire the means to deal with threats they face. It is based on a recognition that the U.S. alone cannot eliminate every terrorist or terrorist organization. Rather, the international community must come together to assist countries as they work to confront the terrorist threat. Who: The 30 founding members of the GCTF are: Algeria, Australia, Canada, China, Colombia, Denmark, Egypt, the European Union, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Morocco, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Structure: The GCTF will consist of a strategic-level Coordinating Committee, co-chaired initially by the United States and Turkey; five thematic and regional expert-driven working groups; and a small administrative unit that the U.S. will host for the first few years.
You can expect the GCTF to declare Israel a terrorist state. If you thought the charge of racism from Durban was tough to swallow... wait till Israel is accused of terrorism for protecting it's legal blockade. Turkey has already threatened to use force. Tempting Fate?

Obama's Jewish problem: It's the substance, stupid

In the Wall Street Journal, Start-Up Nation co-author Dan Senor explains how Tuesday night's election results in NY-9 show that Barack Hussein Obama has an uphill battle to win Jewish votes and Jewish funding in 2012
New York's special congressional election on Tuesday was the first electoral outcome directly affected by President Obama's Israel policy. Democrats were forced to expend enormous resources in a losing effort to defend this safe Democratic district, covering Queens and Brooklyn, that Anthony Weiner won last year by a comfortable margin.

A Public Policy Poll taken days before the election found a plurality of voters saying that Israel was "very important" in determining their votes. Among those voters, Republican candidate Robert Turner was winning by a 71-22 margin. Only 22% of Jewish voters approved of President Obama's handling of Israel. Ed Koch, the Democrat and former New York mayor, endorsed Mr. Turner because he said he wanted to send a message to the president about his anti-Israel policies. (MORE)
If you don't know I'm not orthodox (though I have a deep respect for them and keep a moderate semi Kosher). My family no longer black sheeps me. When I mention objective points about how Obama has failed their retort is slow and full of pauses. They still want Obama to win, but they have a hard time making their own arguments. My family has gone from complete censorship and fear of what I may say to a point where they are listening. I'd say this is a healthy place to be and if I am given reasonable arguments and not GOP choir talking points then I may have a very good chance of getting them to vote for a Republican. They won't ever be Pro Life, and they won't amend their stance on abortion... but they listen to me about issues that deal with government being too big. When I mentioned that is is illegal to take pictures of the police in the state of Massachusetts they asked my why I wanted to take pictures of the police and then change the subject. This tells me that they know that the Blue State juxtaposition of righteousness is weak. When I say I would save Social Security by taking money from the schools they were not hostile to the idea like they were four years ago.

UK Abandons Durban III @ the UN in NYC

The United Kingdom has bowed out of the Durban III conference. The Prime Minister is understood to have personally made the decision that the UK should not take part in the event at the United Nations headquarters later this month. (MORE)
The scandal with Blair, Brown and Qaddafi proving that the UK was cowering to Islamic whims might of had something to do with it. If the Conservatives looks as bad a Labor did then they have nothing to hold onto for an election.

I'm starting to get the Mormons

I think I'm starting to get why the Mormons are Mormons. They were progressives that wanted to explain the flaws in life. Why were men cheating on their wives? Why are black men slaves? and their findings were offensive to the mainstream. When Mormons believe black people are cursed, they don't mean it in a bad way and when Mormons take more then one wife they mean to protect women from abuse. Romney will probably be our next president. We had better start understanding them. I'm not Mormon, but I'm starting to get what it is about. This is offensive I'm sure to Mormons, but I believe Mormon theology is closer to Buddhism then Judaism. Any man can become a God. I'm not saying to convert, but I fail to see why Buddhism is so hip in NYC and Mormons are like chopped liver. If what I'm saying is offensive, I apologize. I'm not a believer, but I refuse to think that this religion's followers mean harm to me. I'm trying to understand it as best I can... and from my background... which does not interpret the Torah literally. I'm not a hater. I even voted for Romney last time in the primaries. I just am having a hard time getting his beliefs.
