don't you think? oh well.
no... this isn't a Gay thing
High-ranking Labour Party members close links with the KGB is one of the biggest taboos in Norwegian politics. In a normal society the courts would have become involved if there was even a slight suspicion that specific members of a political party had been involved in handing over classified information to a foreign power, and in particular a hostile foreign power. But in Norway this doesn’t seems to be the case. The courts aren’t going to touch this one. via Gates of Vienna

Cuomo Picks Schwartz to Be New Top Aide, The New York Times today reported: In a shakeup of his senior staff, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo on Friday appointed Lawrence S. Schwartz, a senior adviser in his administration, to be his top aide.
As secretary to the governor, Mr. Schwartz will return to a position he held under Gov. David A. Paterson. The move establishes him as arguably the most influential unelected official in state government over the past several years, and marks a rare instance of one man serving as the top staffer to two consecutive governors. h/t Atlantic Yards Report

The U.S. Department of Justice recently released its first-ever estimate of the number of inmates who are sexually abused in America each year. According to the department’s data, which are based on nationwide surveys of prison and jail inmates as well as young people in juvenile detention centers, at least 216,600 inmates were victimized in 2008 alone. Contrary to popular belief, most of the perpetrators were not other prisoners but staff members—corrections officials whose job it is to keep inmates safe. On average, each victim was abused between three and five times over the course of the year. The vast majority were too fearful of reprisals to seek help or file a formal complaint. via reason.com

Natalie Portman

Alef Bet: I have a polar relationship with Natalie Portman. On the one hand I'd like to do things to her that I can't write publicly or probably legally and on the other hand she is friends with the Jordanian royal family and is the ultimate court Jew dhimmi.  She also was the absolute worst actor I had ever seen in my life when I saw her live at Shakespeare in the Park's Chekhov's Seagull.  Gah! Before he deleted it: Richard Falk’s anti-Semitic cartoon at View from Geneva

...after he denied posting_the anti-Semitic cartoon, Richard Falk has deleted it. Even Fatah wants to get rid of Richard Falk! To see what Falk’s original post looked like with the cartoon: ...via U.N. Watch ...Click here for the Google cache. (This snapshot may not be registered forever.) and Click here for a screen capture. or Click here for the print-out as sent today to UN rights chief Navi Pillay (last page of the attachment) ...Falk’s problem is not only with Judaism. He disdains faith communities per se, defaming them as “tribes,” whose doctrine “unconsciously and indirectly gives rise to the murderous mentality of warfare and gives a moral and religious edge to many forms of persecution, culminating in a variety of inquisitions.” In his mind however Falk sees the Jews as the initiators of the idea of a singular higher power. He is right in that for sure the Jews started the idea of singular goal thinking or as those who believe in truth call it objectivity. If one wanted to advance the idea of Post-Ism, Post Modern or Post Marxist thought it would certainly be threatened by Judaism.
