V-Day: Valentines and vulgarity | Vagina Monologues Stinks Up The Fun

Labels: » » » » » »
MOO!

Not that I was such a fan of Valentines Day,
but for the snarky feminists
(yes a greater snarky then moi)....
the Holiday has become a threat to women.

...but what would I know about being a threat to women?
Conservatives are not alone, as liberals and feminists equally find the play repulsive.
Eric Marlin, a sophomore at Bennington College in Vermont, believes that The Vagina Monologues does a great disservice to society.
“I'm a very liberal, gay, atheist, feminist Democrat who attends a semi-hippie college,” Marlin said. “I have always been frustrated by the use of the Vagina Monologues as "The Woman Play" because of its condescension towards women, bastardization of sexuality, imbalance in its treatment of lesbian versus heterosexual relationships, and blatant hatred of men,” he added.
Feminist Camille Paglia similarly expressed disdain for the play.
"The perversion of feminism that Ensler represents -- turning Valentine's Day, the one holiday celebrating romantic harmony between the sexes, into a grisly memento mori of violence against women -- has been well demonstrated by the ever-alert Christina Hoff Sommers...," she wrote.
Nevertheless, the V-Day Movement’s dangerous ties should not be overlooked.
Planned Parenthood--currently under fire after employees advised a purported pimp on how to obtain abortions for underage girls--is seen as a chief benefactor of V-Day:
"V-Day is working in collaboration with Planned Parenthood to implement within their already existing programs a strategy to prevent and end violence toward women" (Ensler xxxv).
Additionally, the Tides Center—which boasts ties to George Soros and his network of progressive groups—is praised for their support of the V-Day Movement:

Obama's Director of National Intelligence Says Muslim Brotherhood is Secular

James Clapper oversees all
16 US intelligence agencies
and serves as chief intel
adviser to the president.

this guy is the head guy
of our Intelligence?

As John Bolton
said at CPAC.
What part of Muslim
in Muslim Brotherhood
is secular?
meanwhile the Brotherhood
seems to be religiously
motivated to kill Jews
like Mohammad told them to do...
“the people should
be prepared for war against Israel,”
saying the world
should understand that
“the Egyptian people
are prepared for
anything to get
rid of this regime.”

We shouldn't be pissed that Obama's people are wrong, stupid and ignorant... we should be happy that they are trying to sell the public on these stupid lies. Because usually when Obama and his monsters are trying to sell us that Islam isn't out to kill us... we buy the well phrased stupidity.  this time we see right through Obama's charade....

"I am glad," Brennan said,
"that Jim Clapper is not sitting in front of the TV 24 hours a day."
Maybe he should be.
This is the same Brennan who defended jihad as a
"legitimate tenet of Islam"
back in May, and excused terrorists as victims of
"social and economic forces."

During a House Intelligence Committee hearing Thursday, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper called Egypt's branch of the Muslim Brotherhood movement "largely secular."
In response to questioning from Rep. Sue Myrick (R-N.C.) about the threat posed by the group, Clapper suggested that the Egyptian part of the Brotherhood is not particularly extreme and that the broader international movement is hard to generalize about.

And it's by our Director of National Intelligence FFS.
"The term 'Muslim Brotherhood'...is an umbrella term for a variety of movements, in the case of Egypt, a very heterogeneous group, largely secular, which has eschewed violence and has decried Al Qaeda as a perversion of Islam," Clapper said. "They have pursued social ends, a betterment of the political order in Egypt, et cetera.....In other countries, there are also chapters or franchises of the Muslim Brotherhood, but there is no overarching agenda, particularly in pursuit of violence, at least internationally."

That is so incandescently stupid that he and everyone who vetted or helped prepare his remarks should be fired, preferably out of cannons and not the circus kind. How the Hell are we supposed to make any coherent policy when our DNI is so monumnetally ill-informed that he makes Biden look wise. Every single statement he has made about the Mo Bros is not just wrong, but completely ass-backwards. I weep for our complete lack of anything even vaguely resembling a competent intelligence apparatus.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton defined talks with the Muslim Brotherhood as a positive development. Clinton said, "Today we learned the Muslim Brotherhood decided to participate, which suggests they at least are now involved in the dialog that we have encouraged."

San Diego Port Director Claims WMD Found in U.S.

Labels:

This report was on San Diego television a few days ago but this is the first I've seen of it ... in a British newspaper. Strange how this hasn't become major news.
port official has admitted that a 'weapon of mass effect' has been found by 'partner agencies' in the U.S., raising major questions over a possible government cover-up.
The disturbing revelation came in an interview with San Diego's assistant port director screened by a television channel in the city.
The Customs and Border Protection Department tried to dampen speculation over his remarks, but doubts remained over whether he had inadvertently revealed a dirty bomb plot to attack the U.S. mainland.
Concern over a secret WMD bust came after U.S. cables made public by the Wikileaks whistleblower website revealed terror groups were plotting a 'nuclear 911.'
In the interview screened by San Diego’s 10News, Al Hallor, assistant San Diego port director, said ‘weapons of mass effect’ had been found, although he did not specify exactly where or what they were.
Reporter Mitch Blacher asked Mr Hallor: ‘Do you ever find things that are dangerous like a chemical agent or a weaponised device?’
‘At the airport, seaport, at our port of entry we have not this past fiscal year, but our partner agencies have found those things,’ the customs official replied.
‘So, specifically, you're looking for the dirty bomb? You're looking for the nuclear device?’ asked Mr Blacher.
‘Correct. Weapons of mass effect,’ said Mr Hallor.
‘You ever found one?’ asked Mr Blacher.
‘Not at this location,’ Mr Hallor said.
‘But they have found them?’ asked Mr Blacher.
‘Yes,’ said Mr Hallor.
‘You never found one in San Diego though?’ Mr Blacher asked.
‘I would say at the port of San Diego we have not,’ Mr Hallor said.
‘Have you found one in San Diego?’ Mr Blacher asked.
The interview was then interrupted and cut short by a public relations official before Mr Hallor was able to answer the question.
San Diego's Customs and Border Protection agency was unavailable for comment today.
Earlier, Mr Hallor told Mr Blacher: ‘Potentially every city in America is a target. Given the waterways and the access to the Navy fleet here, I’d say, absolutely, San Diego is a target.
I suspect Hallor will soon find himself looking for another line of work.
so from this one can conclude we have idiots protecting us... that uh might or might not prove a terrorist attack. it's iffy

Ron Paul kicked off YAF board

Labels: » » » » »
It's a sad day in American history when a one-time conservative/libertarian stalwart has fallen more out of touch with America's needs for national security then our current socialist presidential regime, said Young Americans For Freedom national director Jordan Marks.
-  Politico
The dispute between Paul and the the group seems to stem from Paul's anti-war activities and the prominence of his supporters at conservative events like CPAC.
"Rep. Paul is clearly off his meds and must be purged from public office. YAF is starting the process by removing him from our national advisory board. Good riddance and he won't be missed," added Marks.  via americanthinker.com
listen to this Paulbot go at anyone who criticizes his guru. btw... there were WMDS in Iraq... saying that there weren't won't change the truth. Or was Saddam not a CIA operative?  yeeehah the truth comes out. It is a no brainer, but the segment bite of no WMDs registers with the sheep. Even Noam Chomsky said there were WMDs because we gave it to them.
blaming America - and Israel - for most of the evils in the world. It didn't fly in 2008 and it will be even less popular in 2012 if Ron Paul were to embarrass himself and run for president again.
the problem with guys like Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul... (who are really one and the same internationalist agenda... one for corporatist internationalism and the other for socialist internationalism) is that it doesn't matter what they say. They hurt the reputation of the average American and they don't represent local interests.
The modern debate over government is based on offering Americans a choice between two minority monopolies of power. Government controlled corporations or corporate controlled government. Two extremes, both of which monopolize power in the hands of a small number of powerful and influential people. And deprive ordinary citizens of their rights. Because a tyranny of the minority is still a tyranny-- regardless of what its guise is. And either corporate controlled government or government controlled corporations mean a totalitarian state serving the interests of a small group. The only debate is over which small group will benefit the most from the oppression of the majority.

The debate between government controlled corporations and corporate controlled government is mostly irrelevant. Because we have both.

...and Here is Noam Chomsky on WMDs. I know he is a liar, but even he does not agree with the idea that there were no WMDs

Chomsky: "This is even sometimes discussed. You can find it in the strategic analysis literature. Take, say, the invasion of Iraq again. We're told that they didn't find weapons of mass destruction. Well, that's not exactly correct. They did find weapons of mass destruction, namely, the ones that had been sent to Saddam by the United States, Britain, and others through the 1980s. A lot of them were still there. They were under control of U.N. inspectors and were being dismantled. But many were still there. When the U.S. invaded, the inspectors were kicked out, and Rumsfeld and Cheney didn't tell their troops to guard the sites. So the sites were left unguarded, and they were systematically looted. The U.N. inspectors did continue their work by satellite and they identified over 100 sites that were systematically looted, like, not somebody going in and stealing something, but carefully, systematically looted." via Chomsky info
