Abbas hangs with his Dhimmis in France

The majority of the Palestinian and Israeli people want peace, but some leaders are impeding that.

BULL SHIT!
The electorate has been soured on the notion of surrendering land with expectation of finding peace and has shifted right-ward: A Maagar Mochot Survey Institute Poll conducted ten months ago found that Israeli Jews believe by a margin of 80% to 10% that “the idea that Israeli withdrawal to the pre-1967 armistice lines would bring Israel peace for generations is simplistic and naïve.
Among those in attendance were philosopher Alain Finkielkraut, journalists Jean-Pierre Elkabbach and Ruth Elkrief, Jewish student union leader Arielle Schwab and President of the Holocaust Memorial Eric de Rothschild.
Abbas is scheduled to meet with French President Nicolas Sarkozy on Monday to discuss peace talks, following the expiration of Israel's partial settlement freeze in the West Bank.
I wonder what the usual Arab anti-semites think about this?

Pueblo dwellers were genocidal cannibals.

Labels:
Hippies and Progressives always seem to have a way with their role models.
The Indians who built the pueblos are depicted as peace loving farmers who lived in harmony with nature and their neighbors.
In reality they may very well have been cannibals who committed genocide on their neighbors.
...in the early 90s, some Southwestern archaeologists began questioning this received wisdom. David Wilcox, an archaeologist at the Museum of Northern Arizona in Flagstaff, hypothesized that the rulers of Chaco Canyon, a massive Ancestral Puebloan site, commanded a small army and demanded tribute from their southern neighbors, slaughtering any who didn’t comply. As evidence, Wilcox pointed to charnel pits excavated in dozens of Ancestral Puebloan sites dating to the late 10th and early 11th century C.E.: these pits looked like mass graves from a war zone.

At first most Southwestern archaeologists just shook their head and smiled at Wilcox’s ideas. But evidence of very nasty times in the ancient Southwest began to accumulate. Physical anthropologist Christy Turner, now a professor emeritus at Arizona State University, and others detected traces of extreme violence and cannibalism on human bones unearthed at 40 different Ancestral Puebloan sites. Such acts of cannibalism, Wilcox suggested, were political messages, deliberate desecration of the dead as a warning to others.
...
I find it interesting to think about the ways in which contemporary history contributes to prevailing archaeological hypotheses and interpretations. I personally think it’s very possible that some Ancestral Puebloan people were victims of ethnic cleansing. But would the archaeological community have taken this idea so seriously, had it not been for the intense media coverage of ethnic conflicts and cleansing in places like Bosnia, Rwanda and Sudan in recent years?
The vision of an agrarian people living in peaceful harmony with their neighbors was a constant theme of those who wished to promote the idea that pre-Columbian America was an Eden that was spoiled by greedy, polluted, disease ridden Europeans whose object was cultural genocide as a byproduct of a fatally corrupt Western culture. This picture says it all: a tearful “native American” – one with nature – crying for his lost Eden which was destroyed by the white man.
The picture of the Indian as victim.
In this case, the Indians were just a useful tool; a club with which to slime Western civilization. I would venture to say that few Indian tears were shed over the bodies and graves of their beaten foes. That is a characteristic almost uniquely found in the West by those who hate Western culture while living as its pampered, cossetted beneficiaries.

Challenging Charles Krauthammer On Israel

One-thousand Israelis were not murdered because the right attempted to hold on to Judea and Samaria (the West Bank). Rather, it was, as Krauthammer himself acknowledges, because of Israeli concessions – which included pullback from predominantly Arab areas of Judea and Samaria. Once the IDF returned, terror abated.

...I have to read the blogs to learn they are saying this on Saudi financed FOX news. Hippies in upstate New York say I am brainwashed by right wing media... frankly.... right wing media doesn't appeal to me at all. I rarely watch T.V. and count on good blogs like DaledAmos to fill me in so I don't have to watch their crap.

Report In Lebanon: UAE Authorities Order Lebanese Nationals Out
The UAE authorities have ordered Lebanese nationals residing in the territory to leave immediately.

It should be noted that a similar order, issued a year ago, was rescinded following intervention by the Lebanese parliament spokesman Nabih Berri.
Source: Al-Akhbar, Lebanon, September 25, 2010

From Naharnet:

Hizbullah's MP Nawwaf Moussawi on Friday warned that "the period that will follow the (Special Tribunal for Lebanon) indictment won't be the same as the one before, and any group in Lebanon that might endorse this indictment will be treated as one of the tools of the U.S.-Israeli invasion, and it will have the same fate as the invader."
"Those must not only be worried, but also panic-stricken, and we tell everyone that those who couldn't defeat the Resistance through fire and iron and billions of dollars will not be able to defeat it through an indictment or anything else," Moussawi warned.
in the past few weeks I have been corrected by so called neutral voices stating the difference between Lebanon Defense Forces and the Iranian proxy Hezbollah. I was consistently reminded during 2006 that Lebanon was a victim of all it's neighbors. All these ideas are false. Lebanon and it's people are clearly an aggressor and when they allow large missiles in their literal backyard they seize to have the ability to claim that they are civilians.

Elder of Ziyon: Yemen chess team did not get fired - they just refused to play Israel

There were a number of media reports, the Yemen chess team had been sacked because they played Israel in the Chess Olympiad in Russia.

It turns out the Yemen team did not get sacked and simply refused to play, thus losing the match 4-0.

They are still in the tournament, beating Uganda 3-1 in the latest round.

what if they meet Israel in the finals?

Jerusalem Freeze is over!

Let's now provide a full timeline:

Phase One: From 1992 until late in 2000, the PLO, and later the PA negotiated with Israel at a time when there were no limits on construction within settlements. They were, however, in no hurry to make a deal and, in fact, killed the talks in 2000. Incidentally, Israel made a huge concession from its previous positions to begin the process in 1993: No new settlements or territorial expansion of existing ones. It keept that commitment. The PLO and PA also made some "concessions": They would fight against terrorism. They didn't.  They never raised as a bargaining point the idea of a freeze on construction in existing settlements.

Phase Two: Then from 2000 to 2009--a decade--the PA refused direct any sustained peace negotiations at a time when there were no limits on construction within settlements. They never raised as a bargaining point the idea that they would end the violence (2000-2005) or that they would negotiate in exchange for a freeze on construction in existing settlements. That was President Obama's idea in mid-2009 and they rejected it.

Phase Three: After Israel did freeze construction, the PA wasted nine months--knowing the clock was ticking on the temporary freeze--without making any moves to accelerate, or even hold, negotiations.

Thus, the PA has wasted almost 20 years, during which thousands of buildings have been added to Israeli settlements.
Never Freeze Israel Again. Jews need Homes too

American State Department Spokesman Philip Crowley said via Twitter on Saturday that the United States is doing all it can to assure the continuation of negotiations between Israel and the American-backed Palestinians Authority. "

Doing all it can" is generally understood by political analysts to infer increased pressure on Israel to make concessions.

Permits Permits Permits by David Wilder :
Journalists have asked me...
'do you have a permit to build the new kindergarten?'
The answer is quite simple:
We have had a permit to build in Hebron for the past 3,800 years.

Did the first Jew in Hebron, Avraham Avinu, have a permit to purchase the caves of Machpela and the surrounding fields? Did he need a Prime Minister, Defense Minister or anyone else to verify and okay the transaction? Two thousand years ago Herod, King of Judea, constructed a magnificent monument to the Patriarchs and Matriarchs, a building still in use, to this very day. Did he ask Barak or Netanyahu to approve this classic structure?

In 1929 the age-old Jewish Hebron community was massacred and the survivors expelled. It is time that the nations of the world recognize that the roots of modern civilization are found in Jewish Hebron, the foundations of which commenced almost 4,000 years ago.
In 1967 Jews returned to Hebron and Machpela, (which was declared off-limits to Jews and Christians for 700 years). We did not conquer and occupy a foreign city. We returned - we came home.

The most normal act of existence is to grow and develop, to expand. To build. That is what we are doing in Hebron. First and foremost, providing a good thorough education for our children, from the very beginning.

This is why we are starting with a kindergarten, to be built on Jewish land, in the first Jewish city in Israel, in Hebron. No artificial freeze, no talks of an imaginary peace, can deny the Jews of their most elementary right: to live in city of Abraham, to grow in the city of Abraham, to build, develop and expand in the city of Abraham. This is our G-d - given right; an obligation, ensuring a continued thriving Jewish presence in Hebron for generations to come!

Mickey Mouse Jihad: Disney Goes Goofy, Caves

This is total spin. The twat was working for Disney for 2 years before and waited till she got her residence permit, before she pulled the hijab stunt.

It's a small world for Jihad afterall. oh don't act like it is so shocking... Disney also was an Anti-Semite and had sympathies for Hitler who just loved Walt's movies.

Three New Poems by so called American Taliban John Walker Lindh

Labels: » » » » » »
An Islamist organization devoted to supporting Guantanamo Bay detainees and other prisoners held on charges of terrorism has posted three poems that it said it received from John Walker Lindh. An American citizen, Lindh was captured in Afghanistan in 2001, and is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence after agreeing to a plea bargain.
Each of the poems is signed "Abu Sulayman Al-Irlandi, Detainee #001," and dated Ramadan 1431 (i.e. August-September 2010). "Al-Irlandi" means "the Irishman," and the poems themselves contain additional nods to Lindh's Irish heritage, including a reference to himself as "a Mussulman [i.e. Muslim] Paddy."
The first poem, "The Ballad of the Fleas," is about the war in Afghanistan, and depicts the Americans as callous Crusaders, their local allies as un-Islamic hypocrites, and the Taliban as noble soldiers who have been unjustly maligned: "For wolves may foam and bark and bite / And gnash and gnaw and hiss / But if a sheep should dare bite back / He'd be a terrorist." The second poem, "Ode to Omar Khadr," is dedicated to a Guantanamo Bay detainee who is accused of having been a teenage Al-Qaeda operative. Much of this poem deals with alleged misconduct in Khadr's detention and trial: "I end with a message to every oppressor / To each gavel-grasping bench-squatting cross-dresser / As you judge you'll be judged and my closing remark is / A victory jig on the back of your carcass." The third poem, "A Mussulman Paddy's Epistle to Barry," is addressed to President Obama, and uses an inversion of Revolutionary War-era imagery to promise him defeat in Afghanistan: "So lie on the ground like a parcel of noodles / And sing how the Yankees were beat by Pushtoodles [i.e. the Pushtun]."
In a related matter, in August 2010 Lindh and another Muslim inmate have asked a federal judge in Indianapolis, where he is incarcerated, to allow them and other Muslims to pray as a group. The ACLU subsequently filed a motion on Lindh's behalf, claiming that the prison's policy violates the prisoners' First Amendment right to free religious expression.
Me thinks the Irishman is good with words, but lacking wisdom. Witty... like his heritage and unfortunately confused. The Irish and Arabs have much in common with their focus on prose and rhythm. It is too bad poor Lindh followed his own radicalism to his fate... he might of been amusing to of listened to in an Irish bar. John Walker Lindh might of been a better writer if he had looked at the source of the homophobia that led to his fate instead of writing prose that demonizes cross dressing. Poor Lindh was a child of the sexual revolution and his cross dressing Irish daddy in San Fransisco is the source of his fears. In psychological terms this is called projection.

Commentary: 9/11 imbroglio

Labels:

WASHINGTON, Sept. 27 (UPI) -- No sooner did Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad suggest from the rostrum of the U.N. General Assembly that most of the world believes the U.S. government was involved in a 9/11 conspiracy, than 32 nations followed the U.S. delegation as it walked out.
These were members of NATO, the European Union (21 countries are members of both), Australia, New Zealand and Costa Rica.
More importantly, 167 nations didn't budge and went on listening to the Iranian's incendiary speech.
We keep forgetting that countless millions in the world, including millions of Americans, have swallowed the monumental canard that the United States and Israel were part of a conspiracy designed to legitimize the invasions of Afghanistan in 2001 and Iraq in 2003.
The first to finger the United States and Israel was Hamid Gul, two weeks after 9/11, in an interview with this reporter in Islamabad.
Gul, a former head of Pakistani intelligence and notorious anti-American, added the U.S. Air Force to the conspiracy mix. The "evidence" he provided was that no U.S. fighter aircraft were scrambled on 9/11 to intercept the passenger planes that had abandoned their flight plans.
Gul, a friend of Osama Bin Laden dating to the days when they were allies against the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan, is yet to explain what he was doing in Kabul with his Taliban friends for two weeks immediately preceding 9/11.
More recently, in Cairo, two former Egyptian ambassadors to the United States told me they believed there was a Mossad-CIA plot designed to keep Israel and America in lockstep in a war on terror. They pointed out that when President George W. Bush declared Global War in Terror, Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon was the first to sign up.
For the two Egyptians, that validated their suspicions.
There were also bestselling books about the "fact certain conspiracy" written in both French and German, by different authors, that each sold a million copies in both countries.
For Gordon Duff, a Vietnam veteran and senior editor of "Veterans Today" and frequent "self-hating American" guest on radio and TV stations the world over, there is no doubt he is to the conspiracy theory born.
"In America," he wrote last week, "groups have been popping up for years, not 'fringe' types but military and professional organizations, architects, engineers, pilots, intelligence officers. There is a vast underground that is never reported, never spoken of in the news and continually threatened. The FBI and Homeland Security have infiltrated these groups, illegal surveillance has been on a massive scale and, as the groups have grown and their reach has touched millions of Americans, the government, in the usual whispers, is talking about mass arrests, 'unplugging' the Internet, all those things the militia movements of the '90s said would happen."
Outside of the United States, Duff adds, not in the Middle East, but Canada, Europe, Latin America and the Far East, "finding people who accept the Bush and Obama administration's 'party line' about 'box cutters and hijackers' is difficult. No one wants to risk the public scorn of seeming like an imbecile."
In the age of the Internet and the blogosphere it spawned, the media and free speech have never been freer. Trouble is that it's also free for calumny and lies, disinformation and misinformation, all with impunity and no fear of legal retribution.
Former Bush 43 White House counter-terrorism expert Juan Zarate says, "What bothers me most is the seeming loss of coherent argumentation in the conspiracy theorists' world has crept into the mainstream. We've entered the wiki age, in which mere assertions are all judged equally as valid and definitive truths. Relativism abounds -- from the bowels of the Internet to the heart of Washington, D.C."
At the other end of the conspiracy scale come former CIA Director R. James Woolsey and 18 like-minded theorists who have published a "White Paper" titled "Shariah: The Threat to America."
Unlike previous warnings about Islamist extremism, this one posits that the internal threat of Shariah to the United States is graver than anything we faced from the Soviet Union and its international communist movement. That stretches credulity a tad. American Muslims are about between 1 percent and 2 percent of 310 million Americans. The overwhelming majority reject Islamist extremism.
There is no doubt a number of young Muslim Americans are seduced by what they see as a global caliphate in cyberspace -- among the thousands of pro-al Qaida Web sites. This, in turn, has led to the recruitment and subsequent brainwashing of young terrorists trained in Pakistan or Yemen to do harm to the country adopted by their parents.
The signatories portray themselves as the descendants of the CIA's Cold War B team, assembled by Bush 41, to challenge the conventional wisdom of the CIA consensus that the Soviets were genuinely interested in detente and not as a weapon to lure America and its allies into a false sense of security. Team B claimed that detente was snare and delusion.
The only one who got it right was Herb Meyer, a former Fortune magazine senior editor, who became CIA Director Bill Casey's deputy in 1981. As his first order of business, Meyer decided to read all the secret assessments on the Soviets Union's strengths and weaknesses.
When he was through a few weeks later, he said to this reporter privately: "I don't understand how the Soviet Union is still standing. Everything is falling apart. All the stats are phony and they should be suing for peace."
The mighty Evil Empire imploded eight years later, beginning with the February 1989 withdrawal from Afghanistan.
The U.S. intelligence community numbers 100,000 professionals divided among 17 agencies with a combined budget of $80 billion. There are another 100,000 IC professionals in Europe divided among almost 100 agencies. And yet they all managed to get it wrong on Iraq's weapons of mass destruction, which triggered a $1 trillion war -- and the subsequent global economic and financial plight.
Less reliance on the 180,000 documents our government agencies stamp TOP SECRET each and every day, or almost 66 million per year, and more attention paid to open sources and recent history might have been quite different.
if fire doesn't melt steel then why fireproof it. sigh... it doesn't matter. I was one of the Jews the third world tried to frame this on before the U.S. state department intervened. arrested in Mexico. the sad thing is these conspiracy theorists constantly use motive as their reasoning, but we could say the same about them and their bigotry towards the state of Israel.
