Pat Buchanan Complains Supreme Court Has Too Many Jews

Labels:
What kind of Conservative would actually endorse limiting the opportunity of a talented group of people?
The shocking thing here is not that it was said by Buchanan.  The shocking thing is MSNBC gives this guy a legitimate soap box.  Ask yourself why our wars in the middle east have been met by internal dissent... and all you have to do is look to the media source of it and whose philosophy is pushing it.  Ron Paul's good pal Buchanan and the rest of the right wing Alex Jones wackadoodles that need to be weeded out of the Tea Party.  These men are not Conservatives.  They are NAZIS!  MSNBC discredits Conservatives by claiming that this man represents the Grand Old Party.  Like his pal Ron Paul... Buchanan is nothing but a good old boy Dixiecrat posing as a small government pundit.  Buchanan is tyranny in it's ugliest form.
It was William F Buckley Jr who confirmed that Buchanan hated Jews.  In Search of Anti-Semitism" December 31, 1991, subsequently made the cornerstone of a book, William F. Buckley, Jr. concluded, that Buchanan was indeed an anti-Semite:
Today he once again, displayed his putrid venom by objecting to the Nomination of Elena Kagen, not because of her liberal philosophy, or the fact that her college thesis was a positive look at socialism. No, Buchanan's objection was:

If Kagan is confirmed, Jews, who represent less than 2 percent of the U.S. population, will have 33 percent of the Supreme Court seats.

Probably the most harmless thing Buchanan has done is perpetuate the Myth that the Jews controls foreign policy.

In Buchanan's essay "Whose War" he blames the Iraq war on a bunch of mostly Jewish public figures such as Bill Kristol, Paul Wolfowitz, Max Boot, and Richard Perle. Buchanan charges those public figures with "colluding with Israel to ignite wars and destroy the Oslo Accords. We charge them with deliberately damaging U.S. relations with every state in the Arab world that defies Israel or supports the Palestinian people's right to a homeland of their own." He goes on to say, "For whose benefit these endless wars in a region that holds nothing vital to America save oil, which the Arabs must sell us to survive? Who would benefit from a war of civilizations between the West and Islam? Answer: one nation, one leader, one party. Israel, Sharon, Likud." ( The American Conservative Whose War?, A neoconservative clique seeks to ensnare our country in a series of wars that are not in America’s interest. by Patrick J. Buchanan, March 24, 2003 issue)

Buchanan is also a holocaust denier, he challenged the historical record that thousands of Jews were gassed to death by diesel exhaust at Treblinka:

"Diesel engines do not emit enough carbon monoxide to kill anybody." -New Republic, 10/22/90

Of course none of this is enough to get this hater silenced, he is still given air time by MSNBC, and allowed to write for sites such as Newsmax, Human Events, and World Net Daily. Today, once again the human rodent spewed his his anti Semitic hatred

For Reuters, only Israel is subject to international law

Labels: » » » » » » » » »
Reuters correspondents seem to relish the citing of non-binding findings in international law that disfavor Israel -- like the ICJs advisory opinion on the security fence in 2004.  They are much more circumspect however, to note authoritative resolutions issued by bodies like the UN Security Council that find for Israel and/or condemn Arab violations of international law.  Take for example, the UNSC ruling in June of 2000 that Israel had completely withdrawn from Lebanese territory and that the Shebaa Farms area belongs not to Lebanon, but to Syria.  Reuters correspondent Yara Bayoumy appears to be confused about the independence of this determination:
Israel and Hezbollah have traded threats, even though each insists it is not seeking another conflict. One potential flashpoint is Shebaa Farms, a tiny area claimed by Lebanon but still occupied by Israel, which says it was Syrian territory.
For Bayoumy, it is only Israel that is asserting Shebaa Farms is not a part of Lebanon; there is no mention of the UNSC ruling confirming the same.  Thus, it's reported as simply a "he said-she said" between Israel and Lebanon with no reference to international law that upholds Israel's view.

In suggesting that the belligerent parties may be moving toward another war, Bayoumy cites the "unsubstantiated" allegation of the transfer of Scud missiles from Syria to Hezbollah:
The region has stayed largely quiet since 2006 with U.N. and Lebanese army troops monitoring the border. But unsubstantiated Israeli allegations that Syria has transferred long-range Scud missiles to Hezbollah have caused rumors of war to swirl.
In fact, Hezbollah has confirmed receiving the Scuds and Bayoumy fails to make any mention of Hezbollah's rearming with tens of thousands of other rockets in violation of UNSC Resolution 1701.
Just another Swiss cheese sandwich prepared by Reuters.

breastfeed Mohammad,

Labels: » » »
Which is more likely to elicit an irate Muslim response: 1) public cartoons of the Muslim prophet Mohammad, or 2) public proclamations that Mohammad was a bisexual, sometime transvestite and necrophile, who enjoyed sucking on the tongues of children, commanded a woman to "breastfeed" an adult man, and advised believers to drink his urine for salutary health?

"Roman Charity" by Peter Paul Rubens 1612
In traditional Islamic law, someone who suckles the breast of a woman is that woman's child, either biologically or through a foster relationship. However, according the Jurist Abu's-Su`ud (c.1490–1574), this only applies to sucklings under the age of two and a half years. This is a source of some dispute, as a modern Saudi Jurist, in 1983, upheld that if a man suckles from his wife, their marriage is nullified. The query remains a popular one into the 21st century, and has come up in Saudi advice columns.

Howard Berman Oblivious

House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Howard Berman (D-Cal) sent a "Dear Colleague" letter this week to every member of the House.
The Jewish chairman of the U.S. House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee urged colleagues to reassess negative impressions of the Obama administration's U.N. outreach.

"I wanted to bring to your attention to two recent hard-fought victories by the United States at these institutions, which highlight how sustained engagement with international organizations by the Obama Administration has reaped important dividends for both the U.S. and Israel," Berman said in a May 11 letter sent to every member of the House. "By actively using our voice and vote in organizations such as the UNHRC and UNESCO, we are better able to support Israel -- and achieve other important goals -- in the international community."
