Fat Woman Pleads Guilty To Killing Her Kid's Father By Sitting On Him...Receives Probation

CLEVELAND - A woman in Cleveland pleaded guilty to sitting on her 120 pound boyfriend, Mikal Middleston-Bey, and killing him.

It happened back in August, during an altercation between the couple, who share three children together.

Mia Landingham, pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter, during her sentencing, her boyfriend's family spoke out letting Landingham know the pain she has caused..

Landingham's public defender told the judge there was a long history of domestic abuse between his client and her late boyfriend.

He also pointed out she has no prior criminal record.

Landingham then told the judge she was sorry for squashing the father of her children.

Judge Carolyn Friedland sentenced Landingham to three years probation and 100 hours community service.

She was immediately released from jail.

NAIROBI, Kenya — A Kenyan prosecutor says a Jamaican-born radical Muslim cleric who once led a British mosque attended by convicted terrorists is being flown back to Jamaica.

A court ordered the government to produce Sheik Abdullah el-Faisal in court Thursday and state the reasons it was holding him in detention.

Prosecutor Edward Okello said Thursday the cleric had left the country, and could not appear in court.

El-Faisal entered Kenya last month. The government has held him in detention and has been trying to deport him, saying he is a security threat.

The cleric served four years in Britain for inciting murder and stirring racial hatred by urging followers to kill Americans, Hindus and Jews.

Curiosity got the better of me, so I called Trijicon's customer support line. I identified myself and asked about the Bible Codes. Here's what the rep told me.

"Each Trijicon Scope model has a specific Scriptural Reference. All of the Trijicon ACOG 4x32 model scopes have "JN8:12" on them. All Trijicon Reflex Scopes have "2COR4:6" on them. All Trijicon TA55 ACOG 5.5x50 Scopes have "MT5:16"and all Accupoint scopes have REV21:23

2COR4:6 refers to the Christian New Testament, 2nd Corinthians, chapter 4, verse 6, which says, "For God, who commanded the light to shine out of the darkness, that shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."

And MT5:16 refers to the Christian New Testament, the first book, Matthew Chapter 5, Verse 16 which says, "In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."

And REV21:23 refers to Revelations chapter 21, verse 23 which says "And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof."

Ron Paul says CIA coup has occurred.

if one is a Presidential candidate speaking to the public this is poor leadership again in not clarifying his position. I would let it slide, but it happens every other week with Ron Paul and the answer is always the same from Paul's campaign about it being misunderstood. If decades of bigotry were merely a naive mistake written in his name, one would think that he would learn. At the same time you want us to chose this guy to be our president and he has clearly orchestrated poor communication as a pattern and often leaves his audience thinking otherwise. At what point does a "SPADE become a SPADE" as Freud liked to say?

The State Department has cleared the way for two prominent but controversial scholars to return to the United States.

State Department spokesman Darby Holladay said Wednesday that Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton has signed orders enabling the scholars' entry if they obtain visas.

The professors are Tariq Ramadan of Oxford University and Adam Habib of the University of Johannesburg.

Holladay said Clinton decided to use her exemption authority for the benefit of the professors.

The American Civil Liberties Union said it expects the scholars will now get visas within weeks of requesting them.

Pizza Marketing

people don't care if Dominoes Pizza sux. they order it cuz it delivers everywhere and it is open late. it is brand name recognition... and now they are saying they are going to make good pizza. honestly... I wanted to try it myself.... and in Poughkeepsie NY (lots of Italians here and great pizza), I've seen a lot of deliveries happening this week.

Domino’s Pizza’s new Pizza Turnaround campaign set off a wave of discussions in the social media world. The Pizza Turnaround video, which was produced by Domino’s, features Domino’s employees, including its head chefs, and some of the company’s marketing executives, admitting outright that the pizza sucks. Some of the quotes in the video include “Domino’s pizza crust is to me like cardboard,” a sentiment expressed in a focus group but echoed by Domino’s executives. “Doesn’t feel like there’s much love in Domino’s Pizza,” says another focus group participant.

This is, to be sure, a bold move, and many are applauding Domino’s for publicly owning up to making bad pizza. Everyone’s talking about transparency, but not many companies are really doing anything about it.
There’s a reason for that, of course. Only an idiot is 100% transparent.
Setting aside literal definitions, what does “transparent” mean? For publicly held companies, “transparent” has come to mean conducting business and doing accounting according to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Every company is supposed to report its financial situation using the same measures as every other company, and using the same measures every quarter, to ensure that shareholders and regulators can read them and make valid judgments and comparisons.
In the social media world, transparency extends beyond finance, meaning something like “using social media to expose to the public the inner workings of the company and the candid thoughts of its executives and employees.”
So where does the publicly held company draw the line? The CEO can’t be 100% transparent on his or her blog. Comments about the company’s finances are regulated by FASB and the SEC. Comparisons to competitors are regulated by the FTC. When, what information, and in what format an officer of a publicly held company can disclose information is all strictly regulated.
One could argue in fact that Domino’s admission that its pizza isn’t up to par is contrary to its obligations to shareholders to maximize value. In fact, Domino’s stock traded around $11.39 today, not far from its 52-week high, and nearly triple its 52-week low of $4.76. So how bad can the pizza be?
Maybe we expect too much transparency from the companies we do business with. How transparent are you? Do you tell everybody everything you are doing and thinking, or are there some things you might omit? If you want to be 100% transparent, you would have to walk down the street saying out loud, “That’s an ugly shirt.” “You look so cool with your Bluetooth.” “Your girlfriend is way too hot for you.” We wouldn’t call that transparency, actually, we’d call it Tourette Syndrome.
Why then do we expect the companies we do business with to overexpose themselves? I think the social media “movement” has pressured companies to act irresponsibly. OK, the Domino’s thing is clever and is attracting a lot of attention. And maybe Domino’s feels it’s “working.” But I think these guys are subjecting themselves to an unnecessary beating. no I disagree. transparency doesn't always work, but this kind will because Dominoes was never considered a quality brand and was successful because of it's marketing and availability. claiming now that the pizza is now actually good is shrewd.
